Chris van Wyk has stepped away from his position as CEO of AQRate to pursue both local and international business ventures. He will, however, remain an external consultant for the group on technical matters.
I will, going forward, be fulfilling the role of Chief Executive Officer of AQRate and look forward to providing you with independent and credible verification services of the highest standard.

Jeanette has been with the company since 2017, and her new role sees her join the board of directors as Managing Director.
Born in Oudtshoorn and married for 12 years, Jeanette is the mother of two beautiful children, aged seven and five. Jeanette is organised, detail-oriented and a true supermom multi-tasker.
A highly motivated and focused individual, Jeanette believes that it is essential to have goals, without which our lives are likely to lack direction and meaning.
Her passion for people gives her a definite advantage when it comes to ensuring client satisfaction, and as a leader, she provides ample opportunities for people to grow and learn.
Mokgadi Rameetse, previously the Head of Accreditation for B-BBEE at SANAS, has joined AQRate’s board of directors as a non-executive chairperson.
Born in a small village, Botlokwa in Polokwane, Mokgadi is a highly ethical professional with in-depth knowledge of all B-BBEE legislation as well as the SMME landscape in South Africa. A mother of two children, aged ten and seven, Mokgadi obtained her MBA in 2017 by balancing her work, family and studies with the help of her husband of 13 years – she considers this her most significant achievement to date.
A true transformational leader, she inspires people with her positive energy and leads by example.
William Smith, BEE Transformation Specialist and Technical Signatory at AQRate, joins as the new Technical Director of the board.
William is dedicated to his work and is a friendly face in the office. His greatest achievement was becoming a father to his 13-month-old daughter, and he enjoys a good steak and whisky.
A hard-worker, William believes that one should always be themselves in all aspects of life. He is eager to help entities succeed in the world of BEE and to make a positive difference to people and our society.
